School Board Candidates Forum
Supervisors Carmen Chu and Sean Elsbernd invite you to a forum where you can meet candidates for the school board.
Thursday, September 25th
Lincoln High School Auditorium
2162 24th Avenue @Quintara
6:30-8:30 p.m.
From Sean Elsbernd: I’ve heard how important the school board election on November 4th is to so many.
Yet, we know it’s not always easy to make an informed choice in the voting booth.
That’s why Carmen Chu, Plan C San Francisco and I organized a candidates forum where you can hear from those running for school board and have the opportunity to ask them questions directly.
We’ll also provide information tables where you can talk further with the candidates and pick up their campaign information.
I hope you can join us for what is sure to be an informational evening.
All the Best,
[signed] Sean
P.S. We’ll have plenty of crayons and fun stuff for the kids.

There are two projects that will be improving the conditions on Clarendon Avenue near Clarendon Elementary School. The first project is being organized by the Department of Parking and Traffic (DPT), and Department of Public Works (DPW), and will make safety improvements. Constructions will begin in July (2008).
The second project is a Safe Routes to School (SRTS) grant that DPT applied for at the end of 2007 and were awarded earlier this year. These improvements will not be implemented for at least another year.
This document provided by the city contains the details and maps of the sections of Clarendon Avenue that will be improved.
